Established in 1996 during the German-French cultural festival "sensaccion" in Durbán/South France. Every musician performs there with his/her own music project. For us the instant sympathy and admiration for the other's style of music led to the idea to fuse all personal musical focuses (Flamenco, Brazil, Latin and Afro rhythms) and create "Matamá".
Numerous concerts and performances have been given in Germany:

    Matamá, this means:
    - tour support for "Tomatito" (1998 in Bremen)
    -
recording/production and presentation of the first album "Historias" by Minor Music, Hamburg

performance during the world music festival "Marsala" in Hanover (1998)
